Created in 1934 by the National Museum of Natural History, the Paris Zoological Park (“Zoo du Bois de Vincennes”) closed its doors on November 30, 2008 to be completely renovated. It reopened its doors to the public on April 12, 2014 after 27 months of work and almost 6 years of closure.
Visitors can benefit from audio guides which deliver information on the animal species they can see and its environment at each enclosure window.
To make this possible, we noted these points on the ground by GPS and georeferenced the visit plan in order to superimpose the two layers of information.
